MISSION STATEMENT

The purpose of the St. Louis Aviation Maintenance Association is to promote a high standard of technical and ethic practices within the mid-western aviation community furthered by training and sharing information of information amongst its peers. By training, sharing information and experiences and recognizing those who excel at these practices, the organization promotes and self perpetuates its goals.

The organization will operate under the guidance of volunteers who are elected to hold offices of President, Vice-president, and secretary.

Financial obligations and maintenance of a bank account will be maintained by an elected treasurer to fund the overhead and costs involved in event funding and all operational costs.

Membership is open to all those who have an interest in aviation maintenance, including but not limited to Airframe & Powerplant license holders, Inspection Authorization holders, aircraft maintenance technicians (certified and not certified under Part 65) working in the aviation maintenance field, pilots, aircraft owner/operators, aviations enthisiasts, and students.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

The St. Louis Aviation Maintenance Association awards scholarship money to Southwestern Illinois College (SWIC) to distribute to students of their choice.  If your company is interested in donating to the scholarship program to support future aviation maintenance technicians, please note on registration form.
